I have been so excited to share this Slow Cooker Apple and Clove Ham recipe with you! It’s the type of recipe that makes me fall in love with the slow cooker even more. My apple pie baked beans recipe goes GREAT with this ham.

I don’t think there is a better flavor combination than this. The apples, apple juice, brown sugar, and clove make a sauce that cooks into the ham, and with the ham being spiral it makes for even more flavor added to the ham with the juices going in between the slices.

After the holidays are over don’t forget to save this recipe for Slow Cooker Black Eyed Peas! It is rumored to bring good luck if you eat them.

I’ve been making this for 3yrs … ALWAYS a hit ! Can’t believe how quick and easy this is to make. Liked it enough to buy an oversized CrockPot just for this recipe. The only adjustment I make is less apple pie filling (1 x 19oz / 540ml can) but that’s just my preference, not a correction. Also, I find 3.5 -4 hrs on low with a pre-cooked spiral is sufficient, perhaps the result of using less apple pie filling. Great for gatherings. PS: I’ve never left a comment on a recipe before … just sayin’
