Can I serve this chicken with something other than pasta?

  • Serve over rice.
  • Or with steamed vegetables.

Must I use cream cheese?

You can leave it out or add a cup of heavy cream at the end of cooking time is desired. Though the sauce will be thinner.

Does this taste like chicken alfredo?

This Olive Garden Chicken Pasta is thick and creamy like alfredo but has a zesty Italian dressing flavor

It was ok. Not really making it again. Leftovers still in the fridge.

Best slow cooker chicken dish. I make this often when we have dinner guest. Served with salad and garlic bread.

I loved it and was worried, based on reading the comments, that the whole bottle of dressing would make it too tangy. I was wrong this was delicious and oh so easy! I did probably add more Parmesan cheese and used shredded instead of grated because thats what I had. Its a keeper in my recipe rotation

Honestly just tweak the recipe depending on how much you’re making. With one box of noodles I only use half the dressing and half of the cream cheese sometimes and it turns out amazing. With two boxes use the whole bottle of dressing and whole thing of cream cheese. So far most of the complaints is that the dressing is too strong so just use half. The first time I made this I thought the same thing. So the second time I cut back on the dressing and it turned out perfect.

Okay, so this is a controversial dish for me. I made it as the recipe called for and added broccoli and used cellentani noodles. It was flavorful but I must have over shredded the chicken because when I closed my eyes I would have swore it tasted like a tuna casserole! So definitely a weird dish for me but tasty and I’m still eating the leftovers. ‍♀️

Hi. Can you put the uncooked pasta in the Crock-Pot with the chicken towards the end?

    1. Sarah Olson says:

Uncooked pasta turns out gummy and chalky in the slow cooker, the slow cooker doesn’t get hot enough.

Super easy and yummy! It is tangy and flavorful. Next time I’ll skip the noodles and serve over brocolli.

How much is a serving? I have to keep track of everything that I eat including my macros.
