  • Add the drained pasta to the slow cooker along with the sauce and shredded chicken, stir.
  • Sprinkle over more parmesan cheese if desired. I also garnished with a touch of oregano and black pepper.

Can I serve this chicken with something other than pasta?

  • Serve over rice.
  • Or with steamed vegetables.

Must I use cream cheese?

You can leave it out or add a cup of heavy cream at the end of cooking time is desired. Though the sauce will be thinner.

Does this taste like chicken alfredo?

This Olive Garden Chicken Pasta is thick and creamy like alfredo but has a zesty Italian dressing flavor

Love this Recipe! I used the off brand aldi olive garden dressing. The only things I changed was adding onion, garlic powder, and some dried parsley, and I didn’t add the cream cheese till near the end (because I forgot >_<).

I don't know what is with the negative comments especially when in the recipe you notate the olive garden dressing can be salty. It was not too salty for us nor was it "slimy" (whatever that means, it's pasta with sauce don't know what people expect.) It is rich but we don't eat large portions so everyone in our family was fine.

It is a new family favorite and we will be making it again. Thank you so much for the awesome easy recipe!

The texture was nice and easy to make; however, it upset my stomach. WAY TO MUCH DRESSING, and I only put half the bottle in. If I was to do it again (which my husband is banning me from doing) I would do about 1/4 of the bottle with some chicken store and other favorite seasonings or chicken stock seasoning

I have an iron stomach but i ate about 1/4 of my bowl and currently crawled up on the couch

Made this tonight for my husband and I and we loved it! I used the Aldi brand Italian dressing and followed the directions as stated. Delicious! Will be a staple in our household!

Gross is all I can say. That was way too much dressing. The vinegar in the dressing actually irritated my eyes when I took the lid off the slow cooker

I only used half the dressing and a can of chicken broth. My kids liked it but i wasn’t crazy about it.

Can you use any kind of noodles

    1. Sarah Olson says:

Any will work except egg noodles have a tendency to break apart.

I didn’t like it at all. My family thought it was Ok. Maybe it would have been better with mashed potatoes? Will not make it again.

It was delicious. Will surely make it again. My question is? Can I freeze the leftovers? It was so great.

        I don’t see why not!

Lord, I love Olive Garden salad dressing so I was exited to make this. I went exactly by the recipe. It turned out awful. It was extremely tangy. Won’t make this again! Ugh.

Did not like this! My husband took one bite and did not like it. Olive Garden dressy was overpowering!
It was like a bowl of slimy mush!
