Use Olive Garden Italian Dressing to make this Slow Cooker Olive Garden Chicken Pasta! It’s a creamy pasta dish that has so much flavor.
We love easy pasta dishes for the crockpot! Try my Baked Spaghetti, Feta and Tomato Pasta, or Beef Stroganoff recipes too!

I found this recipe in my Facebook group and had to try it out! You can make this Olive Garden Chicken with or without the pasta! Serve over rice or just with green steamed vegetables.

How to make Olive Garden Chicken Pasta in the Crockpot:
- Add chicken breasts to the slow cooker.
- Pour over one 16-ounce jar of Olive Garden Italian Dressing (or any Italian dressing you have on hand.
- Shake over grated parmesan cheese and ground pepper. Add one block of cream cheese.

- Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or low for 5-6.
- Shred the chicken with two forks right in the slow cooker.
- Cook 16 ounces of pasta according to the package directions on the stove-top. I am using penne pasta for this recipe.

- Add the drained pasta to the slow cooker along with the sauce and shredded chicken, stir.
- Sprinkle over more parmesan cheese if desired. I also garnished with a touch of oregano and black pepper.

Can I serve this chicken with something other than pasta?
- Serve over rice.
- Or with steamed vegetables.
Must I use cream cheese?
You can leave it out or add a cup of heavy cream at the end of cooking time is desired. Though the sauce will be thinner.
Does this taste like chicken alfredo?
This Olive Garden Chicken Pasta is thick and creamy like alfredo but has a zesty Italian dressing flavor

Will adding the cooked pasta lower the saltiness?
Not sure why the bad reviews, I followed the recipe exactly and this is absolutely phenomenal!! My daughter loved it too and she is super picky. Quick and easy to make, I highly recommend!!!
Have made this recipe many times and it is just as good as the last time! Absolutely LOVE this!
I don’t know what’s worse, this recipe or all the pop ups on this site. It’s so annoying. I understand that’s how you make your money but wow really. I could barely read anything because of the pop ups. Also a whole bottle of dressing is way too much. I agree with the other reviews. We couldn’t eat it either. Im not a quitter I remade it again this time HALF the bottle and one cup of whole milk and cup of mozzarella cheese. Also added steamed broccoli at the end of 5 minute mark. It was sooo much better and edible.
I’m not sure how you messed it up but you definitely need a bottle. It can get dry. You must not have had enough chicken and didn’t add the right noodle. The noodles soak up a lot of it. You also have to check the ounces. It doesn’t say a whole bottle. It says 16 oz. Olive Garden dressing has multiple sizes. You probably got the 24 oz. I’ve made this recipe 20 times and have never had the problems yall are having. It’s gotta be old people user error.
We did not enjoy this recipe. The cream cheese would not incorporate into the dressing even after using an immersion blender. Even though the chicken was tender, the sauce tasted too much like vinegar.
Hun, then you probably did something wrong. I have never had issues. You literally just mix it with a spoon and put in noodles. The sauce tasted like vinegar? How? You must’ve gotten a different dressing or it was expired. How is that the authors fault that the premade dressing you bought at the store tasted off?
At our weekend vacation home…have all the ingredients can’t wait to make and discover I only have my instant pot and not my crockpot. Do you know how I could adapt the recipe to my instant pot.
Love your website!
Thanks,
Suzette
Luv this meal, so easy!!! Everybody wants the recipe!!! Thanks for sharing!
Way too much Italian dressing. We did not like it.
We made this exactly as written, and we loved it.
This meal did not work. Dried out chicken, very runny sauce, cream cheese didn’t melt very well. Don’t know what went wrong but had to throw out the whole thing and wasted a lot of food. Will not make again.
If the cream cheese wasn’t melted then you didn’t cook it long enough. That’s common sense lol you undercooked it. User error hun. How do you people survive in the real world.
