Can I serve this chicken with something other than pasta?

  • Serve over rice.
  • Or with steamed vegetables.

Must I use cream cheese?

You can leave it out or add a cup of heavy cream at the end of cooking time is desired. Though the sauce will be thinner.

Does this taste like chicken alfredo?

This Olive Garden Chicken Pasta is thick and creamy like alfredo but has a zesty Italian dressing flavor

The recipe instructions doesn’t say when to put in the pepper. I put it in with Step 2. I assembled this in the slow cooker insert and put it in the fridge. I will cook this in the morning. Never put cream cheese in the slow cooker. I will let you know how it worked out. Thank you for this recipe! I came from your YouTube channel.

Looks amazing! Trying this tonight! Only question is, do I have to use grated part cheese or can I just use shredded? Thanks! 🙂

I really wanted to love this but the tang of the Italian dressing with the cream cheese just wasn’t a pleasing taste to me. It was edible but I don’t think I will be making it again. My husband ate it but didn’t ask for seconds.

I also had high hopes for this recipe but was disappointed by the flavor. I am now stuck with lots of leftovers.

The Olive Garden dressing comes in low fat. Can I use that? Also, what about low fat cream cheese?

    1. Sarah Olson says:

You can! Of course full fat anything will taste better but if you are used to the low calorie items it will be fine!

If I add 4 chicken breast do I double the recipes ? And does the cooking time change ?

    1. Sarah Olson says:

It depends on the weight for doubling, if it’s well over 2 pounds, yes. I think the same amount of time

    2. tracie says:

Looks amazing! Want to make this today but my olive garden dressing bottle is open. Could I either mix 2 italian dressings together to get to 16 oz or add water to the olive garden bottle to get the right amount??

    1. Sarah Olson says:

I would mix 2 Italian dressings together

  10. J.B. says:

Looks yummy! You have two different calorie counts: one on your blog & a different number on the printed version. Which is more accurate? Thanks

    1. Sarah Olson says:

Hi JB, the one on the blog (the one with more). I forgot to add the cream cheese.
