This time of year we make hot beverages in our crockpots for just about every get together! The slow cooker keeps the hot chocolate warm and guests can top their mugs with whatever they choose.
What you need:
For this recipe, you need whole milk, peppermint schnapps, chocolate chips and sugar. For topping the mugs of boozy hot chocolate, you can add whipped cream and sprinkles.
Other alcohol choices:
- Bailey’s Irish Cream (chocolate, caramel and whiskey notes)
- Butterscotch Schnapps
- Kahlúa (coffee Liqueur)
- Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur)
- Add the chocolate chips and sugar.
- Pour over the milk.
- Cook on high for 2 hours or until the chocolate chips are melted and the cocoa is hot.
- Stir and serve!

Garnish Bar: Set up a toppings station with whipped cream (homemade or spray can), mini marshmallows, chocolate shavings, caramel drizzle, crushed candy canes. Guests can customize their mugs to their liking.

Slow Cooker Boozy Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
- 24 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ gallon whole milk
- 1/4 cup white sugar
Add after warmed up:
- 1 cup peppermint schnapps , (add slowy to taste!)
For Serving
- whipped cream or marshmallows

Instructions
