Use Olive Garden Italian Dressing to make this Slow Cooker Olive Garden Chicken Pasta! It’s a creamy pasta dish that has so much flavor.
We love easy pasta dishes for the crockpot! Try my Baked Spaghetti, Feta and Tomato Pasta, or Beef Stroganoff recipes too!

I found this recipe in my Facebook group and had to try it out! You can make this Olive Garden Chicken with or without the pasta! Serve over rice or just with green steamed vegetables.

How to make Olive Garden Chicken Pasta in the Crockpot:
- Add chicken breasts to the slow cooker.
- Pour over one 16-ounce jar of Olive Garden Italian Dressing (or any Italian dressing you have on hand.
- Shake over grated parmesan cheese and ground pepper. Add one block of cream cheese.

- Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or low for 5-6.
- Shred the chicken with two forks right in the slow cooker.
- Cook 16 ounces of pasta according to the package directions on the stove-top. I am using penne pasta for this recipe.

- Add the drained pasta to the slow cooker along with the sauce and shredded chicken, stir.
- Sprinkle over more parmesan cheese if desired. I also garnished with a touch of oregano and black pepper.

Can I serve this chicken with something other than pasta?
- Serve over rice.
- Or with steamed vegetables.
Must I use cream cheese?
You can leave it out or add a cup of heavy cream at the end of cooking time is desired. Though the sauce will be thinner.
Does this taste like chicken alfredo?
This Olive Garden Chicken Pasta is thick and creamy like alfredo but has a zesty Italian dressing flavor

Any idea how to adjust cooking times if using an instant pot instead of a slow cooker?
I do not test in an instant pot, I apologize.
This is such a tasty dish!! Thank so much for sharing!
I was wondering your thoughts on maybe trying Ranch or Thousand Island dressing instead of the Italian to switch it up a bit?
Thank you so much!!
I perosonally wouldn’t do thousand island, but ranch may be good.
Made this last night after reading the comments. I doubled the batch for leftovers. Instead of using a crock pot, I made it on the stove top with a couple large pans. After the chicken was cooked and shredded, I added half the dressing and 8 oz. cream cheese. After it was mixed, I taste tested, then added a little more dressing and another 8 oz. cream cheese. Once that was blended, another taste test. As the sauce was starting to get really thick, I added a cup of chicken broth, then the parmesan. This took the vinegar taste down a notch. I mixed it the noodles and heated it all. The family loved it.
I edited the recipe a bit. Only used half the dressing. Added chicken broth, heavy cream, and a 1/2 block more cream cheese. Came out delicious.
Made this two weeks ago, I did add chicken broth as the recipe I originally found on fb and was a huge hit with my family. They all went back for seconds. Will be making again tomorrow night by request of the family.
This is absolutely terrible
I’m taking family out to dinner
This goes in the garbage
Really bad to mine and my family’s taste only did it bc the good reviews please don’t do this it was so over hyped way too much dressing flavor if you want to do this just do Alfredo.
I should’ve read the comments before I made this. I was suspicious without much salad dressing, but sure enough when I popped open the lid of the crockpot it nearly burned my eyeballs I ended up putting 12 ounces of chicken broth mixed with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch dissolved. Then added 2 tablespoons of sugar. I also added 2 cups of broccoli just so we can make it edible. Will never make this again!!! this is a waste of money on ingredients.
I don’t know what you are talking about. You bud is delicious. You must not be human!
It was delicious. I’m amazed at how something so simple can be sooo tasty
I made this yesterday. Had such high hopes and was really looking forward to it. When it was done cooking, it tasted awful. So sour, vinegary. I managed to make it edible by adding 1 pint of half-n half and 1/4 cup of sugar. We all had a serving but this was not what i had envisioned when i decided to make this recipe. Never again. Not good.
I just threw up a little, 1/4 cup sugar, what are you smoking?
why are the comments of a recipe on a cooking site full of so many angry karens that haven’t had a good roll in the hay in decades? jfc.
daaaaaaaaaang you can tell by the vitriol in the comments of black widows up in their lonely tired webs. this recipe is delicious. would not change a thing!
