Sarah’s Notes
You could use a store-bought BBQ sauce here instead. Just replace all of the ingredients for the sauce with 2-3 cups of store-bought sauce. This homemade one is super easy, though, and I swear it’s worth it. Can I make this ahead of time and freeze it?
Absolutely! Make the sauce and add it to a large freezer bag with the uncooked pork. Store it in the freezer for up to 3 months. Allow the pork to thaw in the fridge before layering it into the slow cooker with the sauce. Cook as you normally would. Can frozen Chops be Used? I recommend defrosting your pork chops before cooking. You can also use bone in pork chops or thin cut pork chops.
