Recipe Ingredients

Ingredients for beenies and weenies on a table.
  • Kielbasa: Originating in Poland – hence the more common name, Polish sausage – kielbasa is a u-shaped smoked sausage of any kind of meat.
  • Ranch Style Beans: This is a brand of baked beans that has its own unique blend of spices. It has a flavor similar to chili. You will keep the juice from the cans.
  • Worcestershire Sauce: This sauce is added to most recipes to help add a deep flavor and cut through any sweetness.
  • Brown Sugar: Adds just the right amount of sweetness without being overbearing.
  • Onion: Sweet yellow onion is the onion of choice. It doesn’t add much heat more than a nice sweet flavor.
  • Jalapeno: Diced (or minced) jalapeno will add a nice level of heat. If you want it hotter, include the seeds.
