Key Ingredients

Here’s what makes this dish so flavorful from top to bottom:

  • Rich Sauce: Olive oil, ranch seasoning, and apple cider vinegar create a tangy, flavorful coating.
  • Pork Chops: Thick-cut boneless pork chops cook up tender and juicy.
  • Potatoes: Baby red potatoes soak up all the buttery ranch flavor.
  • Butter: Cubed butter melts over everything for a savory finish.

How to make Butter Ranch Pork Chops

  1. Layer the potatoes and pork chops in your slow cooker.
  2. Mix up the ranchy goodness and pour it over everything.
  3. Add butter, cover, and let it all cook to tender perfection.

Sarah’s Tips & Variations

Ranch Swap: Use an Italian dressing mix or Lipton onion soup mix instead of the ranch packet. If you prefer making your own ranch mix, try my homemade ranch mix recipe.

Lighten it up: Skip the butter and use a splash of broth or water instead.

Vegetables: Carrots, onions, and garlic are great additions to the dish – add at the beginning of the cooking time.

Meat Swap: The pork chops can be swapped for chicken breasts or tenders.

Potatoes: Replace baby red potatoes with Yukon gold, fingerling potatoes, or cubed russet potatoes.
