How to Serve
- Crock pot teriyaki beef is delicious served over a bed of white rice. You can also swap for brown rice, Jasmine rice, or cauliflower rice.
- Serve this tasty beef alongside a helping of edamame, snap peas, broccoli, or a veggie combo.
- Top the teriyaki beef with sesame seeds, soy sauce, and sliced green onion.
Can I use a different cut of beef?
Yes, you can use these cuts of beef instead of beef stew meat if desired.
- Flank steak – no need to cube up. Put in whole and shred after the cooking time is up.
- Chuck roast or any other beef roast – Cut into 1-inch cubes
- Steak – Sometimes I have leftover steaks from a value pack and those work great cubed up in this recipe.
- Ground beef – if you only have ground beef you can definitely use it with this recipe. Brown, crumble and drain before continuing with the recipe.

Love this quick and easy recipe will try it tomorrow when I go grocery shopping.
We love this served with brown rice. Very easy to make and I have served it for company several times and everyone wants the recipe.
Is there a good substitute for teriyaki sauce that is sugar free? Diabetic in the house. Thanks for anybody who can answer this.
Some store sell sugar free teriyaki!
G Hughes makes sugar free. Sold at Wal mart. Very good
How about adding raw baby carrots to the pot?
Could you put this on some kind of noodle?
I just make this for my family of 6, it was awesome! My kids ate it all! I used stew meat and added some sesame oil and little bit of soy sauce. Thank you so much!!
Can I use Pork stew meat instead?
Yes! That will work great.
Yummy!!!! I can’t eat food with tiny seeds or nuts, so I used Mr. Yoshida Sauce and 1/4 cup sherry.
Made this for the first time and it was deeelicious! Wife gave it 5 thumbs up! This is going on my favorite recipe list. The only thing I did differently was I browned the beef lightly before adding to the slow cooker. It added some additional flavor to the beef. Served with long grain white rice and steamed green beans. No leftovers here!
I cant find the soy sauce anywhere is there another I can use
You really can use any teriyaki! Just keep on eye on it for some can burn on the edges.
Amazon carries it.
Made this last night with the following
4lb beef chuck roast
1 cup Lawry’s teriyaki marinade (made with pineapple juice)
8 oz crushed pineapple
8 shakes of smoke
cooked low for 8 hours.
Served beef by itself (no noodles/rice) tossed out liquid leftovers
Due to the notes above of salt, that is why i choose to reduce the pineapple and marinade.
result- delicious & was asked to make again
Came out perfect, with requests for future showings in the dinner menu.
