This Crockpot Cheeseburger Dip combines creamy cheese, savory bacon, seasoned beef, and fresh veggies for the perfect chip dip!
Every game day I like to try a new dip recipe, in years past I’ve made Queso Verde Dip, and Chili Cheese Dip. This year I’m making bacon cheeseburger dip!

This Crockpot Cheeseburger Dip is the ultimate party dip—cheesy, hearty, and packed with bacon, ground beef, and bold burger seasoning. It’s everything you love about a cheeseburger in melty, scoopable form. Perfect for game day, cookouts, or any time you want something indulgent and fun to share
Other beefy dips just like this are slow cooker sausage dip and my favorite game day recipe Rotel Dip.
Ingredients for Cheeseburger Dip
This comes together quickly! Find the full recipe in the recipe card below the images.
This dip has everything you love about a bacon cheeseburger packed into one bowl! It starts with gooey Velveeta cheese and creamy sour cream for that smooth, melty texture. Crumbled bacon and ground beef bring the hearty, savory flavors, while petite diced tomatoes and diced red onion add just the right amount of freshness. A sprinkle of salt, pepper, and Montreal Steak Seasoning ties it all together, giving the perfect kick of burger-like flavor. Grab some tortilla or potato chips, and you’re ready to dig in!
Variations
- Instead of ground beef, crumbled and cooked sausage is a great choice for cheese dips. Make sure to drain it well and dab with paper towels for it can be greasy.
- To make spicy, use Rotel tomatoes or hot salsa instead of diced tomatoes. Add chopped jalapenos or serrano peppers. Or you can even add canned diced jalapenos.
- Pickles can be added if you truly want a cheeseburger style dip.
How to Make Crockpot Cheeseburger Dip
This dip comes together quickly with thanks to the slow cooker.
- Add the cubed velveeta to the slow cooker.
- Next add the cooked ground beef, cooked bacon and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours.
- Stir occasionally.
- Serve and enjoy!
Serving Tips
Serve the warm cheesy dip with ground beef and bacon with one or more of the following:
- Tortilla Chips – Choose a strong chip; don’t buy tortilla chips labeled “thin.”
- Potato Chips – Ruffles with ridges work best.
- Veggies – Offer carrot or celery sticks for those who are eating lower carb.

- If you want more of a Mexican style dip, use rotel tomatoes and add jalapenos.
