These tender pineapple meatballs are a cinch to make and are soaked in flavorful sauce. There is something magical about cooking frozen meatballs in the slow cooker. My easy recipe will have you eating a take-out style meal with little effort.

Ingredients for making pineapple meatballs on a table.

Key Ingredients

Meatballs: Grab a few bags of plain frozen meatballs. I find these near the frozen shrimp at the store.

Teriyaki: Use any brand you like; we like Kona Coast Island Teriyaki.

Pineapple: Canned pineapple works excellently in this recipe; it’s sweet and easy to keep on hand for recipes like this one.

How to Make Pineapple Meatballs

  1. Add frozen meatballs, drained pineapple, and teriyaki sauce to the slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook until hot and the flavors meld.

Tips & Variations

Cooking Time: Don’t just heat these meatballs until just hot, if you let them go a little longer they will soak up the sauce.

Additional Vegetables: Add a diced white onion, sliced white mushrooms or bell peppers to make this a complete meal.

Little Smokies: You can swap the meatball for a few packs of little smokies for an entirely different appetizer.

How to Serve Pineapple Meatballs

As an Appetizer: Turn the slow cooker to warm and serve the Pineapple and Meatballs with toothpicks. Stir occasionally.

For Dinner: Serve the meatballs and sauce over white rice or mashed potatoes. Add a green vegetable to round out the meal.
