These Rotel Tacos are super easy to make, using just a handful of ingredients, adding a new twist to your next Taco Tuesday, potluck, or game day meal.
Cook the ground beef in a skillet on the stove-top set to medium high heat. Drain off fat and add the ground beef to the slow cooker.
Add the salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Add the cubed Velveeta cheese and Rotel tomatoes.
Cook on HIGH for 1.5-2 hours or until heated through.
Serve on warmed taco shells with desired toppings.
Notes
Add any leftover beef to an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 4 days. You can also freeze the meat to make next Taco Tuesday's prep time much shorter. The whole family will enjoy leftovers the next day.
Some people like to thicken the beef by adding black beans, extra tomatoes green chilies, or add onions.
You can use ground chicken, ground turkey, ground sausage, or any ground meat of your choice.
