Slow Cooker Peach Butter Recipe
A homemade peach butter, made with just peaches, spice and sweetener. Great for storing for later.

Slow Cooker- 6 quart or larger (I own and use this one from Crock-Pot)
Ingredients

lbs.
peaches
about 9-10 medium peaches, sliced, quartered, and pits removed
1
tsp.
ground cinnamon
2-4
Tbsp.
brown sugar
to taste, added later
Instructions
Slice and quarter the peaches, removing and discarding the pits.
Place the peach slices into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
Pour the peach purée into your slow cooker and stir in the cinnamon.
Cover with the lid and cook on low heat for 8 hours. Do not open the slow cooker during this time.
Once the cooking is done add the brown sugar slowly to taste
If the peach butter is too thin, leave the lid off for about 30 minutes to an hour to allow it to thicken.
The finished peach butter should have a rich, deep orange-brown color and a smooth, spreadable texture.
The peach butter can be blended once more after cooking for ultra smooth peach butter. (optional).
Notes
You may have to blend the peaches in batches, depending on the size of your blender.
