Slow Cooker Chicken Parmesan Sandwiches
Chicken breasts are seasoned with Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and garlic powder then submerged with marinara sauce for the easiest and best-tasting chicken parmesan sandwiches ever.

Slow Cooker- 6 quart or larger (I own and use this one from Crock-Pot)
Ingredients

lbs.
boneless skinless chicken breasts
1
tsp.
salt
1/2
tsp.
pepper
2
tsp.
Italian Seasoning
1
tsp.
garlic powder
24
oz.
Marinara Sauce
(I use Rao's Brand)
2
Tbsp.
Parmesan cheese
For serving:
Ciabatta rolls or hamburger buns.
Mozzarella cheese slices

Instructions
Add the chicken breasts to the slow cooker.
Sprinkle the chicken with the salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
Pour over the marinara sauce. Sprinkle over the parmesan cheese.
Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 6 hours.
Shred the chicken with two forks.
Toast the buns and top with the shredded chicken and mozzarella cheese.
Serve and enjoy.
