5cupsfreshly brewed coffee(measure in a measuring cup, don't rely on coffee pot lines).
1 ¼cupsheavy cream
1/2cupbrown sugar
1/2tsp.cinnamon
1/4tsp.nutmeg
1pinchcloves
2tsp.vanilla extract
2-4cinnamon sticksoptional
3-5star anise podsoptional
For Serving
whipped cream
cinnamon sticks or star anise for garnish
Instructions
Add the coffee, cream, brown sugar, spices and vanilla extract to the slow cooker.
Cook on HIGH for one hour or until at desired temperature.
Serve with whipped cream and garnish with a cinnamon stick or star anise.

Stovetop Instructions: Simply heat everything in a stockpot until hot and serve! Don't let boil.Adjust: Taste after warmed up and add more cream, sugar or more coffee to your taste. Every batch will taste different depending how strong your coffee is.Doubling: You can double this if expecting more people. It will easily fit in a 6 quart slow cooker.
