The magical slow cooker
01 1.5 lbs chicken breast
02 1/2 tsp salt
03 1/4 tsp pepper
04 8 oz jarred pesto
05 1/2 cup salted butter
06 1/2 lemon
01 1 lb dried rotini pasta
02 1/2 cup grated parmesan
03 2 cups shredded mozzarella
04 1/4 tsp dried basil
Add the chicken and top with salt and pepper.
Smear over the pesto over the chicken.
Squeeze over the lemon juice.
Slice the butter and add on top.
Place the lid on the slow cooker. Cook on LOW for 5-6 hours without opening the lid during the cooking time
Add the cooked and drained pasta and the parmesan cheese, stir.
Sprinkle over the mozzarella cheese. Place the lid back on the slow cooker for 15 minutes more or until the cheese melts.
