The magical slow cooker
01 42 oz. apple pie filling
02 2/3 cup brown sugar
03 3/4 cup oatmeal
04 1/4 cup flour
05 1/4 cup chopped pecans
06 1/2 cup salted butter
07 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
08 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
09 1 slow cooker, 4 quart or larger
10 pinch of salt
Add the pie filling to the bottom of the slow cooker. In a large bowl add the remaining ingredients, stir until a crumble forms.
Sprinkle this evenly over the apples. Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 2.5 hours without opening the lid during the cooking time.
Serve topped with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
