Slow Cooker Caramel Dip
A two ingredient caramel dip that is wonderful for parties. The slow cooker keeps the dip at the perfect temeprature.

Slow Cooker Size: 4 quart or larger
Ingredients

oz.
caramel bits (two 11-oz. bags)
or 22 oz. soft caramel chews

cup
heavy cream

Instructions
To your slow cooker add the caramel bits and pour in the heavy cream.
Cook on LOW for 2-3 hours, stirring every hour with a rubber spatula. The caramel sauce is done when it becomes smooth and shiney.
Serve warm with apple slices, marshmallows or pretzels. Enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 7 days in the refrigerator.
Reheat on the stove top on low in a heavy bottom pan or in a microwave safe dish and warm for 20-30 second intervals.
Red delicious or granny smith apples are best for dipping.
When serving, set your slow cooker to the WARM setting, stir occasionally.
Half & half can be used in place of the heavy cream.
