Add the chicken, hot sauce, ranch, cream cheese and cheddar. Stir.
Cover and cook for 2 hours on high. Stir 1-2 times during the cooking time, the cheese tends to stick to the edges.
Top the dip with green onions if desired.
Serve with desired dippers and enjoy!
Switch the slow cooker to warm for your party, keep an eye on it for it still can scorch on warm. Stir often.

Baking Instructions: If you run out of time to slow cook you can bake instead. Place in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake uncovered for 30 mins.
How to Store: Keep any remaining chicken buffalo dip in crock pot if it will be eaten the same day. If not, add it to an airtight container and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat it over low heat on the stove top.
